Welcome to the June 2022 Cosmic Weather Forecast by Curtis Lang with Jane Sherry. According to the calendar we are in the last stages of spring, but judging by the abundance in our garden, and the heat wave this week, you would think it's nearly harvest season in Historic Bethabara Park. What used to be the carefree sun and fun summer season is being transformed into the season of danger as climate change accelerates.

If we can avoid fighting the rip, tune in to intuitive guidance and keep our will forces subordinated to the goals set by our Higher Purpose as revealed through new guidance this Full Moon, we will find that the powerful energy of the Full Strawberry Super Moon can give us the strength, courage and persistence to overcome virtually any obstacles in our path. 

While the world confronts an array of frightening financial, geostrategic and environmental developments, all is well in our garden. We are blessed with such abundance this year. The spring season has been one of explosive growth in our garden, and our strategy of no-till weed smothering to prepare the beds, followed by a lot of leaf mulching has really kept down the weeds.

Jane and I have said for decades that working in the garden instills great respect in us for farmers all over the world. After a couple of hours working in the North Carolina spring heat, we have been ready for a break, and our temperatures have only been in the upper 70s and low 80s.

On the down side, we had only 1/10 of an inch of rain in May, so we've been watering by hand nearly every day. We have lots of thirsty plants. This last week of spring temperatures in our garden will top our city's all time high of 100° on Tuesday, with no soaking rain in sight and record breaking temperatures all week long. That's 15° above normal. It looks like the beginning of a long, hot summer, here and around the world.

So far, 2022 has been the driest year on record in California in at least 125 years. "This summer is predicted to be another menacing one, with forecasts showing hectic hurricanes and above-normal wildfire activity," according to Grist magazine. "In a prelude, a heat wave scorched the Southwest over the weekend, breaking records in more than a dozen cities."

Meteorologists predict abnormally strong, frequent  hurricanes this summer and above-normal wildfire activity. Climatologists have coined a novel term for the summer season, reflecting the new normal of accelerating climate change.

“Climate change has pushed a lot of these types of events into a new realm that is much more dangerous,” said Kristy Dahl, a climate scientist at the Union of Concerned Scientists. “So as we were thinking about this season, and how we’re going to respond to it, the phrase ‘danger season’ seemed appropriate.” 

Europe is having a record shattering heatwave according to data from the Information Sharing and Analysis Center (ISAC). The Mediterranean countries are already experiencing warming that exceeds the 1.5º C target for climate change mitigation set by the Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change many years ago. Italy had its second warmest May on record since 1800, with +1.83 °C above the 1991-2020 average. Northern and central part of the country observed their warmest May on record (+2.25 °C and +1.81 °C above the 1991-2020 average, respectively).

Europe may be spectacularly hot by historical standards, but we have to pity the people trying to grow food in the Middle East or Central Asia. Scorching heat has persisted so far this June, with 124.9º Fahrenheit in Kuwait, 122.7º in Iran and an all time high 122º in Saudi Arabia. Six countries now have reached >122º F in 2022. Intense June heat in Central Asia has reached 110.3º in Turkmenistan and 107.2º in Kazakhstan. And remember this is still spring. A long hot rough beast of a summer approaches for much of the world. As global temperatures rise year by year the Middle East, Central and South Asia face catastrophe -- not in the distant future, but within the next decade or two.

March was the hottest month in 122 years in India and the heat wave continues. In Punjab, Haryana and Uttar Pradesh, the regions known as Indias wheat bowl, yields of grain are down as much as 35% from normal this year. In its latest report, the Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change warned that in the next decades in India,  “Increased temperatures will cause yields to significantly reduce rice production by 10% to 30%, and maize production by 25% to 70%.” That's a recipe for mass starvation.

"Climate-change impacts on food and water systems, declining crop yields and rising food prices driven by drought, wildfire and harvest failures have already become catalysts for social breakdown and conflict across the Middle East, the Maghreb and the Sahel, contributing to the European migration crisis," warns a recent Australian climate change report entitled "Existential climate-related security risk: A scenario approach." 

The report looks at a 2º C rise in global temperatures, a level that many new climate models predict we will reach between 2040 and 2060. At this level of warming the "hothouse Earth" effect will cause "35 percent of the global land area, and 55 percent of the global population, (to be) subject to more than 20 days a year of lethal heat conditions, beyond the threshold of human survivability." Ecosystems will collapse in many parts of the globe, including coral reef systems, the Amazon rainforest and the Arctic, along with a massive die-off of the insect population. Triggering these tipping points will create a new normal which cannot be reversed for millennia.

Mumbai, Jakarta, Guangzhou, Tianjin, Hong Kong, Ho Chi Minh City, Shanghai, Lagos, Bangkok and Manila will all have to be abandoned because of unbearable heat even before sea level rise renders them uninhabitable. "More than a billion people may need to be relocated and in high-end scenarios, the scale of destruction is beyond our capacity to model, with a high likelihood of human civilization coming to an end," the report concludes.

It was only a few years ago that many mainstream climate change models regularly predicted the possibility of a 2º C in global warming as basically a worst case scenario, possibly occurring around 2100. As models are refined and updated to include new climate change variables, the timeline for reaching this hothouse Earth scenario has been moved forward dramatically. 

In May, "Over 1,000 scientists around the globe engaged in public protests in a desperate plea for the world’s governments to take action against the rapidly accelerating climate crisis. Scientists chained themselves to businesses and government buildings in an effort that organizers are calling “the world's largest-ever scientist-led civil disobedience campaign," as reported in the Marist Circle.

"There is a very big risk that we will just end our civilisation. The human species will survive somehow but we will destroy almost everything we have built up over the last 2000 years" -

So what should be done?

"The transformation of the global economy needed to achieve net-zero emissions by 2050 would be universal and significant, requiring $9.2 trillion in annual average spending on physical assets, $3.5 trillion more than today," according to a new report by management consulting firm McKinsey & Company.

"To put it in comparable terms, that increase is equivalent to half of global corporate profits and one-quarter of total tax revenue in 2020. Accounting for expected increases in spending, as incomes and populations grow, as well as for currently legislated transition policies, the required increase in spending would be lower, but still about $1 trillion," the McKinsey report explains. "Spending would be front-loaded—the next decade will be decisive."

As scientists freak out, political leaders and those elites who control the commanding heights of the global economy are pursuing goals that are diametrically opposed to the urgent actions needed to forestall a hothouse Earth scenario from unfolding in the near future.

The Ukraine war has already been more bloody, more dramatic, more disruptive of the global geo-strategic equilibrium than analysts had expected. New sanctions on the export of Russian gas to Europe have triggered plans to build massive new Liquid Natural Gas facilities in Germany, Netherlands and Estonia.

Even if those terminals existed today, they could not deliver American gas to countries like the UK, Italy and Spain because there are no pipelines in place for transport. To rebuild the entirety of the European natural gas infrastructure, which is now designed to receive and transport Russian gas, will cost hundreds of billions of additional dollars, perhaps trillions of dollars. 

The average lifespan of these facilities is normally 20-30 years. European governments are locking themselves into a future dependent upon the use of expensive American natural gas rather than further developing clean sources of energy, which are necessary to mitigate climate change.

The cost of the new facilities and the new pipelines will crowd out proposed European government funding for clean energy and climate change mitigation, making it impossible for Europe to achieve expensive Net Zero 2050 goals designed to prevent catastrophic ecosystem collapse in many parts of the world. 

At the same time that Europe has committed to this immense investment in obsolete fossil fuel infrastructure, European countries are also engaged in vastly increased military spending, designed to counter the perceived Russian threat.

China, Russia, and the United States are suddenly entering into a new, extremely dangerous arms race, focused on hypersonic missiles, competition for control of militarized satellites surrounding the planet, tactical nuclear weapons, and next generation naval vessels, nuclear submarines and combat aircraft.

South Asian countries are also responding to the newly flammable geo-strategic environment by committing more and more money to upgraded and expanded military systems. 

"In 2021, the world spent over $2 trillion on war, but only invested–and this is a generous calculation–$750 billion in clean energy and energy efficiency. Total investment in energy infrastructure in 2021 was $1.9 trillion, but the bulk of that investment went to fossil fuels (oil, natural gas, and coal). So, investments in fossil fuels continue and investments in arms rise, while investments to transition to new forms of cleaner energy remain insufficient," warns a recent article in The Monthly Review.

The world currently spends around $2 trillion a year on weapons and military systems, and that looks set to increase by about 5-10% this year. With inflation rising around the world, increases of 10-15% per year in the near future are not unthinkable.

At a 10% per annum rate the projected increase in global arms spending could pay for a large portion of needed investment for a global transition to a green economy. 

Investing trillions of dollars necessary to create a new global electrical grid designed to work with green energy sources, providing subsidies for emerging green technologies, retrofitting existing homes and office buildings to make them energy efficient, and reconfiguring and localizing the global supply chain to use less fossil fuel inputs are no longer on the global agenda.

Co-operation between the major powers of the world and between rich nations and emerging, impoverished nations simply will not take place during a global arms race and the ongoing division of the world into Western and Eastern factions. Without such co-operation there is no reasonable hope that climate change mitigation can be implemented in time to stop the rise of global temperatures anytime this century, and will probably result in a world 4-6º C warmer by the end of the century. Climate models suggest that at those levels the planet might support 1 billion humans, approximately .125% of the current 8 billion global population. So nearly 9 in 10 people will die by the end of the century if the status quo persists.

As we consider the possibility of funding humanity's last chance for a global transition to a new green economy, during the next ten years, perhaps the most daunting problem humanity faces is the potential implosion of global financial markets and the emerging high probability of a global economic recession, which could last for up to a decade. 

As you can see from the chart above, created by the Federal Open Market Committee of the US Federal Reserve Board, US GDP projections are dismal going forward in 2022 and continuing to slide through early 2024.

According to recent polls, around 45% of investors believe an American recession is coming, this year, or more probably in 2023. Predicting recessions is historically beyond the skill set of most Wall Streeters, and I would not want to give you the impression that I have a crystal ball. But as a longtime financial journalist I can tell you a little about today's environment that indicates a very high probability of a recession in the US, and why the Federal Reserve can do little to prevent bad outcomes in the present situation. Those outside the top 10% will most likely suffer greatly, one way or another, in the years to come.

Investors know that there are several major factors that can trigger a recession. Although the appearance of one of these factors is sufficient to cause a recession, most major recessions follow the appearance of several of these factors simultaneously.

Loose credit is the first factor. When money is cheap and credit is easy to come by, speculation is rewarded on Wall Street, more and more risky bets are made in stocks and bonds. Companies can borrow money on the cheap and buy back their stock, so it goes up in value. People tend to borrow and spend more without regard for the long term consequences. 

The Federal Reserve has kept the price of credit low and increased the money supply continually since the 1994, 1998, 2000-2002 and 2008 financial crises, creating an extremely long period of cheap credit and easy money. This Fed policy of continuously bailing out banks and Wall Street with easy money and cheap credit was only possible because inflation was at an all time low.

When markets began to meltdown in the COVID slump of 2020, the Fed pumped $5 trillion of cheap money into the financial system, most of which was used by banks and Wall Street firms for speculation, by venture capital firms to fund risky tech startups and by large corporations to fund stock buybacks that would pump up the value of their stock. 

Now that inflation has returned for the first time since the late 1970s, and the Fed is determined to raise interest rates repeatedly until people stop borrowing and spending, borrowers will be hammered by higher rates. This means over-extended companies, like Web3 startups and other speculative stocks will be hammered. In fact they already are taking a nosedive.

People with variable rate mortgages will be hammered. Already it costs over 5% to take out a new mortgage, and with housing prices up 25-50% over the last few years around the country, the monthly payment on a new house has doubled, so we can expect the housing market to soften at best, and crash like 2007 at worst. The chart above from the Federal Reserve Bank of St. Louis shows that US housing prices have soared far beyond the peak of the 2006 bubble, when people thought the cost of housing was utterly insane and unaffordable. We remember what happened after that. The 2008 Global Financial Meltdown triggered a global recession lasting years.

New bonds will sport higher interest rates so the trillions and trillions of dollars of existing bonds all over the world with lower rates and lower yield will plummet in value. That process has already begun. The US bond market is enduring its worst year in history with a loss of 10.7% so far. Historically, the 2.9% decline for bonds in 1994 was the largest ever recorded, so this year's losses are easily 300% greater.

The stock market is also suffering precipitous history making declines. A bear market is defined as stock losses of 20% or more. Year to date, Netflix is down 70%, PayPal is down 60%, Facebook is down 48%, Nvidia is down 44%, Tesla is down 43%, Amazon is down 36%, Apple is down 25%, and Microsoft and Google are both down 24%. So far no one reputable on Wall Street says the stock market has reached a bottom.

Stocks, bonds, and real estate could all go down together as a result of the implosion of the global everything bubble. The global everything bubble was created by government policies that rewarded speculation in financial assets and real estate, deregulated finance and tech monopolies, and cushioned banks and Wall Street speculators from their losses when periodic crises appeared. 

It's been a long party for the rich and powerful, but the Fed has taken away the spiked punchbowl. The result is what you see in financial markets right now, and Fed tightening has just begun. This historical cycle of boom and bust is called the business cycle on Wall Street. When the cycle turns from boom to bust, the bull market turns bearish, and the bear has claws, and that can cause a recession.

In addition, in 2022 we have several other factors that cause recessions making an appearance.

Energy prices are skyrocketing, and set to go higher. We have already discussed how Europe will be facing stratospheric fuel prices and shortages because of Russia sanctions triggered by the Ukraine war. Saudi Arabia and OPEC are not interested in helping America by lowering prices. Recently, Saudi Arabia’s Crown Prince Mohammad bin Salman refused to take President Biden's phone calls. 

The dislocation caused by shifting geopolitical alliances has in the past been enough to cause recessions around the world, and this time will probably not be different. The division of the world into Eastern and Western factions triggered by the Ukraine War is set to create a global Cold War 2.0 and the result will be the end of neoliberal globalization, the economic, political and financial system that has underpinned the American Empire for the last 40 years.

Inflationary pressures caused by supply chain issues that first appeared during the COVID pandemic are now being exacerbated by the division of the previously globalized supply chain into Eastern and Western blocks, as in the Cold War of the Twentieth Century. This can have serious consequences.

If you want a new Apple Studio Display for your computer, you have to wait two months to get one. And the weaponization of the global economy by leading powers such as America, Europe, Russia and China has only just begun. For instance, some in China's leadership have said they want to seize Apple's giant Chinese factories if the US sanctions China in the future. 

To summarize, we currently have numerous economic and financial factors in play that can easily cause a recession in this country. Historically speaking, when several of these factors surface simultaneously the resulting recession is normally a large one.

The immediate impact of these factors on today's economy and markets are plain for all to see. Mortgage demand is the lowest since 2001. Consumer confidence is at an all time low. Credit card debt is up 20% in April alone. Inflation of 8.6% is the highest since 1981. The average gas price across the country is above $5 per gallon. Seventy percent of all tech stocks are in a bear market. You can draw your own conclusions about the degree of risk for markets and the US economy going forward.

The Federal Reserve cannot simply lower interest rates again and reopen the easy money spigots to flood financial markets with free liquidity as they have often done in the past because we are now in a high inflation environment. More easy money could create hyperinflation that would end the dollar's role as the de facto global currency, and spell a quick, ignominious end to America's Global Empire.

On the other hand, if the Fed stays on its current course, and raises interest rates several times in the near future, stocks, bonds and real estate will implode. Rising interest rates on corporate debt will eviscerate over-extended companies of all kinds. Consumers with variable rate mortgages and other types of variable interest rate loans will be hammered. 

So the Fed is basically unable to engineer a soft landing. They can choose between a monster recession caused by increasing interest rates or potential hyperinflation at worst and years of stagflation at best if they lose their nerve and loosen credit conditions once again.

Whatever they do, the odds are extremely high that economic conditions around the world will not be remotely suitable for the spending of trillions of dollars a year to build a new, green global energy economy. And, once again, we have only 10-20 years to engineer this unprecedented transformation.

I have written about climate change and the environmental crisis for many years, as readers well know. Now, for the first time, it appears to me that we must begin to prepare for a rapidly evolving degradation of our global civilization, over the next twenty years, not some time in the distant future after my entire generation has died. 

It is time for each of us to prepare in whatever ways we can, to search our souls and decide what actions we can take to help alleviate the unimaginable suffering that is about to engulf our world.

This Full Strawberry Moon is the Festival of Goodwill, also known as the Festival of Humanity, a most auspicious time for us to take part in the global meditations that are planned around the world. The Full Moon located at 23°24’ Sagittarius occurs at 7:52 am Eastern Daylight Time on Tuesday June 14. By 7:24 pm the moon will be at perigee, the closest it comes to Earth during its monthly orbit, creating a Super Moon, allowing observers in America to see a larger than life Lunar sphere in the night sky.

The Sagittarius Super Moon and the Gemini Sun are both square Neptune in Pisces, so the inner fire that transforms the desire to achieve our worldly goals into direct action could be in conflict with a dreamy collective consciousness that seeks to retreat into inner worlds of fantasy, spirituality, or imaginative creation.

This mutable T-square triggers powerful energetic cross-currents in our lives. We may feel at times as though we are on a merry-go-round or tilt-a-whirl that accelerates without warning and then suddenly decelerates, or reverses direction without warning, leaving us feeling fatigued and spent. These cross-currents make it difficult for us to stay centered and grounded. We may find that our ability to focus on our spiritual and material goals is diminished as we struggle to maintain forward movement while submerged in these energetic rip tides.

There is of course a positive side to this aspect. For artists or musicians, this aspect could crystallize a fully elaborated creative vision that acts as the seed for a large scale project.

This aspect impels people to explore all avenues leading to deep psychic experiences of the personal subconscious, the collective unconscious, the Higher Self and transcendent realms of subtle energy. The danger is that these realms are beset by energetic rip tides that can carry the seeker into states of consciousness so far removed from their previous experiential reference points that they can become disoriented, or even lose their sense of self altogether.

Spiritual practitioners who can exercise their will forces to insulate themselves from the strong energetic tides, and remain unaffected by the astral glamours infusing the emotional body of the collective unconscious at this time, will be able to achieve remarkable clarity and focus and generate an unusually strong flow of Universal Life Force energy in their physical, etheric, astral and mental bodies.

It is necessary to exercise great discernment when interacting with esoteric groups, because the group mind may be subject to illusion and delusion during this period of time. Inexperienced seekers would do well to avoid taking short cuts to spiritual experiences such as psychedelic drugs at this time of heightened sensitivity, especially if they are not accompanied by a well qualified and experienced guide and teacher.

Once the Full Moon week is over, during the next month, there are three remarkable outer planet alignments creating potent cosmic weather patterns that will affect everyone on Earth.  Saturn, Neptune and Pluto are all retrograde this month, creating a striking array of fundamental, collective challenges and opportunities for humanity worldwide.

This Hubble Space Telescope infrared image of Saturn provides detailed information on the clouds and hazes in Saturn's atmosphere. Saturn stationed retrograde at 25º Aquarius on June 4, and will remain retrograde until October 23 when the Cosmic Taskmaster stations direct at 18º Aquarius. During this retrograde period we have now entered we will be presented with a review of the life lessons we have encountered since Saturn's entry into Aquarius in 2020, coinciding with the onset of the global COVID pandemic.

The pandemic is not over, as much as we would like it to be a historical footnote in our life stories. In addition, economic disruptions, financial panic, near recession and a massive government bailout all occurred during the early stages of Saturn's stay in Aquarius, testing our collective will forces and our ability to co-operate in large social settings.

Our political, medical, and financial institutions were all tested during this time, and it looks like more tests are coming soon. But this is not our first rodeo, as they say in Texas, where I grew up. We know what to do. Hopefully we will collectively manage these new, now familiar tests with greater grace than we did in 2020 and 2021.

Neptune turns retrograde in Pisces on June 28, and remains in apparent backward motion until December 3, 2022. Neptune entered Pisces in 2011, around the time of the Fukushima nuclear disaster.

Neptune retrograde in Pisces presents us with a cosmic energy signature that infuses the rest of the year with an array of outsize mental, spiritual and emotional opportunities along with ongoing, dramatic challenges to our mental and emotional stability and clarity. 

When Neptune is in Pisces boundaries tend to dissolve. We all become more susceptible to influences generated by the individual and collective thought forms of people and groups with whom we have formed energetic, emotional attachments. We can all recall the global panic at the time of Fukushima over the potential for global fallout, and about potential radioactive pollution of the oceans and fish throughout the Pacific region.

Since then, we've had periodic collective outbursts of irrational fear, anger and angst about political polarization in America during the age of Donald Trump, collective Covid derangement syndrome, a hundred flavors of conspiracy theories on social media, the financial panic of 2020, supply chain disruptions, the first land war in Europe in 75 years followed by the erection of a new Iron Curtain between East and West, and now the apparent bursting of the global everything bubble, impacting markets and economies around the world.

In the background, throughout the Neptune in Pisces era, the immense global subconscious awareness of impending environmental catastrophe as a result of runaway climate change has catalyzed a tidal wave of denial, as well as fear, loathing, depression and sorrow in individuals and groups who recognize true nature of this existential crisis.

Different groups will collectively respond to these Neptune in Pisces emotional tidal waves in polarized ways.

Neptune in Pisces enhances all efforts directed toward personal and collective spiritual evolution, sensitizing us to transpersonal and transcendental aspects of our life on Earth. Spiritually oriented individuals tuned into the collective consciousness known as Higher Mind, will respond with compassion and act with goodwill towards others, in an effort to minimize wholesale suffering.

On the other hand, humanity's collective consciousness during the Piscean Age has been dominated by a structured conformity to single minded, patriarchal, exclusionary, idealistic belief systems, and to a one-pointed focus on manipulating material reality to improve economic productivity, wealth and power at the expense of the natural world.

Neptune in Pisces challenges and emotional riptides have created rigid resistance to reality and escapist tendencies in large portions of the population. These tendencies are expressed as religious fundamentalism, political dogmatism, authoritarian government, a militaristic mindset, and a refusal to work for the collective good, asserting instead a "me and my family first" war of all against all mentality. 

To make these collective Saturn and Neptune issues much more intense here in the United States, we have been experiencing America's first ever Pluto Return in 2022, and we have written extensively about this rare celestial phenomenon throughout the year. 

It's been a scary, difficult journey into the underworld of America's collective unconscious, the realm of Hades, and we have encountered a host of demons and ghosts conjured by our collective karma. We have been at war with ourselves, which is a typical response by individuals and Empires when confronted with Plutonic challenges. We have struggled to deal with perceived enemies, foreign and domestic, and our struggles and attacks on those enemies have weakened us as a people.

This month and next the energy of America's Pluto Return reaches maximum intensity once again during Pluto's retrograde phase, which runs from April 29th to October 8th, 2022.

The United States’ natal Pluto occupies 27°32’ Capricorn. We will experience three exact returns in 2022: February 20th, July 11th during Pluto retrograde, and finally on December 28th. 

The July exact Pluto return will amplify the energy signatures of the environmental, political, economic, medical, military, geo-strategic and financial challenges facing this country. The synergy between retrograde Saturn, Neptune and Pluto is creating a perfect astrological storm for this country next month, so be forewarned.

We all will need extra guidance, strength, discernment, perseverance, courage and compassion during the month to come and for the rest of the year as world changing events unfold. The Summer Solstice: Festival of Fire and Maximum Light

The Summer Solstice occurs at 5:13 am EDT Tuesday June 21st. The northern hemisphere of planet Earth is mostly tilted toward the Sun and here in the United States it’s the beginning of astronomical summer. The Sun enters the spiritual, nurturing water sign of Cancer. We are half way through the astronomical year.

In the Northern Hemisphere, the Summer Solstice Festival is the time of the yearly seasonal cycle when will forces are rising within human beings, plants dance toward the sun, and all of nature is energized by Mother Earth’s outpouring of Universal Life Force energy.

Archangel Uriel, who presides over the summer season, is the Master of Universal Life Force Energy, which originates as Subtle Fire in the Divine Mind and descends through the subtle energy realms until it penetrates material reality, infusing the physical plane with the loving wisdom that is the Living Light, the Holy Spirit. This Subtle Fire is the Source of Life that burns at the core of Mother Earth, the secret kundalini energy. This Subtle Fire emanates from the Spiritual Sun and ignites the magnificence of the physical Star we know as Sol.

Uriel presides over the marriage of Energetic Forms found on the causal plane of existence with the appropriate flavor and measure of Universal Life Force energy necessary to provide a pattern for the birth, growth and complete development of minerals, plants, animals, planets and stars.

This energized growth template, or morphogenetic field, as biologist Rupert Sheldrake calls it, surrounds the space in the material world where the physical being manifests, and this energetic template triggers the birth and guides the growth of stars, worlds, plants, minerals, insects, animals and humans alike from the beginning of their life cycle until the end.

The Solstice is a moment of reversal. In previous seasons, Cosmic forces have been streaming into the Earth's aura and penetrating deeply into the biofields surrounding all living beings, quickening the flow of life force energy and strengthening the will forces within each of us, creating the templates for growth of plants, animals and humans alike. Now the season of growth has taken hold, and the three living kingdoms begin to exhale as the Earth brings forth verdant growth, animals give birth and humans celebrate their sexuality with traditional June wedding ceremonies amid peak displays of flowers and fields ripening with corn and grain.

This is a pivotal moment in the annual cycle of seasons, a time to initiate dramatic changes in your world. Where in your world is a revolution needed?

Invoking the Path of Spirit During the Festival of Goodwill

The Gemini Solar Festival, also known as the Festival of Goodwill, World Invocation Day or the Festival of Humanity, occurs on Tuesday, June 14th. This is the third major spring festival of the Global Wisdom Tradition honoring the Ancient Wisdom Teachings of the East and West. The first two were Easter and Wesak, taking place at or near the Full Moon in April and May.

The full moon in Sagittarius is known as the Festival of Humanity, or the Festival of Goodwill, because that is the day that the incarnate and discarnate Guides and Teachers of all the Mystery Schools of the East and West join together to light the flame of inner wisdom in the minds of all humanity. That flame is known as Buddha Mind to the Initiates of the East and Higher Mind to Initiates of the Western Mystery Schools. The third spring full moon of the year is the day the Spiritual Hierarchy light the flame of unconditional love in the heart of humanity. “

During the Festival of Goodwill, the love of Christ and the wisdom of the Buddha are showered down upon the Earth. At this time, spiritual disciples of all paths and lineages and religions around the world receive inspiration and instructions concerning their roles and duties for the upcoming year.

Join this global Sagittarius full moon meditation to align with the Forces of Reconstruction on The Festival of Goodwill. This is the moment when meditators, Lightworkers and practitioners of spiritual traditions both Eastern and Western around the world invoke the inspiration and guidance of their Teachers and Guides, incarnate and disincarnate. The Christ Consciousness Grid, actually a set of seven grids in rainbow colors that surrounds the Earth, is in the form of a pentagonal dodecahedron with icosahedral caps.

The dodecahedron is one of The Five Platonic Solids. There are only five three dimensional polyhedrons whose faces are identical regular polygons. They are the cube, tetrahedron, octahedron, icosahedron and dodecahedron. 

Plato associated the cube with the element of Earth, the tetrahedron with the element of fire, the octahedron with the element of air, and the icosahedron with the element of water. 

"There still remained a fifth construction, which the god used for embroidering the constellations on the whole heaven," wrote Plato. That Fifth Element, Spirit, or Universal Life Force energy, is represented by the dodecahedron.

21st Century students of sacred geometry associate the dodecahedron with the energy of the stars, and with the energy of the Zero Point Field, which fills the so-called vacuum of space, within which the stars are embedded.

Astrophysicists, following up the work of 20th Century quantum physicists researching the roots of inertia, found that the void of deep space is in fact a limitless self-sustaining source of Zero Point Energy. Zero Point Energy appeared to some astrophysicists to be the most ubiquitous energy in the Universe.

This discovery was instrumental in reframing our understanding of the Universe. Astrophysicists began to question if matter is the fundamental building block of our Universe, as Newtonian physics had proclaimed. Instead, Zero Point Energy, which is coterminous with the vast field of the Void in deep space, appears to be the true origin of all matter in the Cosmos.
