Description
This beautiful Gem Quality Rose Quartz Angelic Star Pendant with Trillion Cut Quartz Crown is set in sterling silver. It comes with an 18" sterling silver chain which sits upon the thymus and comes complete in its own velvet jewelry box.
The Angelic Star is cut according to principles of sacred geometry in the form of a six pointed star resembling angel's wings. The Angelic Star pendant is designed to facilitate the bearer's connection with Divine Awareness, providing access to the Ancient Wisdom Teachings in the Universal Storehouse of Knowledge.
The Angelic Star opens a clear channel of communication to the Angelic Realms. Wearing an Angelic Star over the thymus gland, located between the throat and heart, aids in alignment of the wearer's energetic bodies with the Original Blueprint for Soul Evolution contained in the individual's Star Seed.
Metaphysical Properties of Rose Quartz
Rose quartz normally exhibits a coloration ranging from pale pink to rose red. Scientists believe the color arises from trace amounts of titanium, iron or manganese within the crystal material. Recent research also indicates the rosy color may arise from thin microscopic fibers of the mineral dumortierite, a form of aluminum borosilicate.
Rose quartz is generally found in large formations, and usually is too clouded with inclusions to provide good material for cutting gemstones, so gemstone quality rose quartz is quite rare and valuable as a mineralogical collector's item.
Rose quartz also has beneficial properties for meditation and healing purposes. The color rose pink is often associated with the heart chakra in the Western chakra system, and rose quartz is believed by crystal healers to activate and energize the heart chakra.
For meditators, rose quartz can be valuable in releasing energy stuck in the heart chakra, and also help us to attain a feeling of safety and emotional security that is supportive of all spiritual practices designed to open the heart chakra, and develop compassionate feelings, thoughts and actions.
Crystal healers also find rose quartz to be extremely beneficial in treatment of individuals who have experienced the loss of a loved one, or who find themselves picking up on the emotional wounds of others around them. Rose quartz has often been used in the treatment of wounds to the emotional body, and especially a wounded heart, but can be used effectively in treatment of wounds to the heart, throat, third eye and crown chakra.
Rose quartz is perfect to place on your altar, by your bed or in the room of a loved one or one who needs extra emotional support. It imparts a warm pink glow and elevates the emotional frequency of the environment in which it resides.
Rose quartz projects a soft, soothing, gentle energy that resonates with vibrations of love, and is especially supportive in cases where an individual is developing the capacity for self love. It sends out an energy of unconditional love, as compared with passionate love, so the energy of rose quartz resonates with the heart chakra rather than the lower chakras.
This is a gently healing stone, allowing for the slow opening of the heart to healing and loving energies. It supports the wearer or bearer of this stone in all spiritual practices and daily activities that promote the development of compassion for all beings -- and especially for oneself.
Properties of Clear Quartz
Clear quartz has both piezoelectric and pyroelectric properties, so quartz crystals will respond to heat and pressure by changing their electrical polarities, and by radiating energies. Quartz crystals are ideal for receiving, storing, amplifying and transmitting energy. They are used in computers, liquid crystal display watches, radios, radar systems and many other types of advanced technologies.
Quartz crystals have been used by healers, spiritual teachers, and scientists of the sacred throughout history to receive, transmit, store, focus, amplify, transform and balance the various forms of energy found in our Universe, all of which can be considered to be interchangeable forms of Universal Light.
Quartz crystals have this marvelous ability because, metaphysically, quartz crystal expresses the unity of the five elements (Earth,Air, Fire, Water, and Ether or Spirit).Crystals grow deep in the earth and form much of the earth’s crust, yet crystals, like the element air, allow light to pass through them. Crystals are fiery in that they have piezoelectric properties yet they are watery in their hexagonal molecular structure which resembles snowflakes, and in their ice-like appearance. Crystals are quintessential expressions of the element of Ether or Spirit, which is synonymous with Universal Life Force Energy, the fundamental energy that sustains all forms of energy in the known universe.
Thus crystals represent the unity that underlies the apparent multiplicity of material creation, the unity of both material and spiritual worlds.
From a metaphysical viewpoint, quartz crystals are cosmic tuning forks, harmonizing the soul, mind, heart and body of the user with the vibrational frequencies of Spiritual worlds – which are after all simply realms of light resonating at a much higher frequency than the material world.
Native Americans revere quartz crystals as the brain cells of Grandmother Earth. Viewing the Earth as a living organism, primitive stones such as granite and sandstone comprise the skeleton of the organism, the Earth’s crust is the skin. Vegetation and water channels make up the lifeblood of Earth’s body, and metals and minerals function as glands, nerves and sensory organs.
“The shining water that moves in the streams and rivers is not just water, but the blood of our ancestors,” Chief Seattle explained. “If we sell you our land, you must remember that it is sacred. Each ghostly reflection in the clear waters of the lakes tells of events and memories in the lives of my people. The water’s murmur is the voice of my father’s father. The rivers are our brothers, They quench our thirst. They carry our canoes and feed our children. So you must give to the rivers the kindness you would give any brother.”
Quartz crystals, in this worldview, act as the Earth’s brain-mind, through which Spirit, the Universal Mind, maintains communication with all parts of Earth’s organism, equilibrating the earth’s temperature, moisture levels, and other important variables. In addition, quartz crystals and other gemstones collectively create and modulate an electromagnetic field around the Earth, which is a vital component of the Earth organism’s auric field, and clear quartz crystals, identified with white light, represent the unifying vibrational frequency that harmonizes the seven rainbow rays of Earth’s many varieties of gems and minerals, within that auric field.
Thus in the Native American tradition, any human being who can attune to the power of the quartz crystal is in tune with Grandmother Earth, and obtains the ability to communicate directly with Spiritual worlds.
We often use crystal pendants for psychic protection, purification and to clarify things of a spiritual nature. See our article on Psychic Self Defense for more information along these lines with many suggestions on how to protect yourself from unwanted energies.
