This spectacular 2.5 inch high Indigo Quartz Elestial Cluster on Matrix weighs 88 grams or 3.1 ounces, and comes from Vitoria da Conquista, in Bahia, Brazil.
This Indigo Quartz Elestial Cluster displays a large female termination tip crowned by two large multi-point clusters and numerous small tips and turrets, marking this rare Indigo Quartz cluster as an Elestial. You can see the internal rainbow in the largest termination tip!
The gorgeous coloration comes from inclusions of the mineral actinolite. You can see a reddish yellow inclusion in one tip, indicating the presence of hematite. The sparkling matrix is heavy, indicating the presence of hematite.
There are two varieties of Indigo Quartz -- indicalite and actinolite. Actinolite works more intensely on the mental and physical bodies, with less subtlety than Indicalite (Blue tourmalinated quartz.).
This actinolite stone feels as though you are smoothing out all creases, anxieties & tensions VERY quickly, because in our experience it seems to work first on the mental body, quieting the mind, then extending it's thorough yet gentle unwinding to the physical.

Extremely rare, translucent Indigo Quartz contains formations of ochre coloured actinolite, a hydrous calcium magnesium iron silicate.
This Indigo Quartz crystal comes to us as part of a small shipment from Brazil, where it is available directly from the source in very limited quantities. This Actinolite Indigo Quartz is an alluvial stone, meaning that it is found in river deltas, where it washed downstream from the mountains where it was formed. These rare crystals were found in the fields of farmers in Bahia, Brazil, near the surface of the Earth. No mining was involved.
Actinolite based Indigo Quartz soothes the soul, calms the mind, and relaxes the body.
