This beautiful Brazilianite Gem w/Bridge Crystal from Minas Gerais, Brazil, weighing 22 grams or .78 ounce, displays good gold-green coloring & has a beautiful luminosity & brilliance with natural faceting & terminations. This piece is stunning, can be held in the hand or placed on your altar! This piece will sparkle & add light to any room in which it is placed. The main portion of this specimen is a single gemstone with a lovely bridge crystal emerging & crossing most of the top portion of this gemstone. You can see that the main portion of this piece is a single gemstone in the photo below right.
Brazilianite, sodium aluminum phosphate, is a moderately hard stone made up of short prismatic forms. It is a gemmy stone with good translucence and is used in the jewelry industry because of its brilliance & luster. It was named after Brazil a relatively short time ago when it was first discovered there in 1944. Deposits have also been found in New Hampshire in the USA. This fabulous cluster of druzy points well illustrates the lustre of this gemstone!
Albite is a type of feldspar, which manifests as tabular and plate-like crystals. Crystal healers and meditators have used albite to promote a sense of flow in one's life, to improve one's diplomatic skills and to purify the physical body.
