Channeling Crystals
Channeling crystals exhibit a distinctive seven sided face on the termination tip, opposite a triangular face. The heptagonal face can be symmetrical or asymmetrical. A channeling crystal has a unique ability to connect the user to inner spiritual guidance, and to sources of Higher Wisdom in spiritual worlds, such as Spirit Guides, Angelic Presences and Spiritual Teachers.
During a crystal healing or Reiki self-treatment session, place the seven sided face of the crystal in your left hand, pointing in toward your wrist. The left hand is the is the receptive hand. Close your eyes, and relax.
Meditate quietly, observing your thoughts without pursuing them or allowing them to disturb your relaxation. Maintain a state of detached observation, neither approving or disapproving about your thoughts. Allow them to come and go, simply observing their passage.
Maintain your attention on your breath, and attempt to breathe deeply and evenly. Breathe in slowly and evenly from the very bottom of your stomach and inhale deeply, until you have filled the diaphragm all the way to your throat. Exhale slowly and evenly through the nostrils, emptying the diaphragm all the way down to the very bottom of the lower stomach, several inches below the belly button. If you like, count the breaths as you go, until you reach one hundred.
Throughout the meditation, visualize a powerful white light streaming into your body from the crystal, filling it completely as you count your breaths, so that by the time you complete your meditation, your body is completely filled with the white light.
Isis Crystals

Phantom Crystals
This phantom was created when a faceted tip formed at one point in the crystal's growth, but the crystal's growth was interrupted for some reason, and then the quartz crystal resumed its crystallization, eventually enclosing the phantom crystal within itself, creating a residual outline of the previous point completely enclosed within the enlarged crystal formation.
The phantom typically displays one or more translucent thin, cloud-like layers of mineral deposits resembling small points. Each layer of cloudy inclusion contains a revealing snapshot of the crystal's termination faces in the remote past.
Each phantom marking represents a different stage in the crystal's growth -- and each stage can last for hundreds of thousands of years! Each phantom crystal reveals its own evolutionary pattern -- it is as though we can see the record of the transmigrations of the crystal's soul.
It should come as no surprise that phantom crystals help us to unearth our own histories, and to come to terms with unresolved issues from our past. Phantoms help us to see our own messy histories and our painful karmic issues as part of a beautiful spiritual evolution. In this way, they help to restore a sense of inner balance, unity and an aura of magic where there had been pain and struggle.
How do phantom crystals form within the Earth? One possibility is that a pocket of mineral rich liquid inside the earth surrounding the crystal dried out, stopping the crystal's growth. When a crystal's growth is interrupted for some reason, a thin dusting of such minerals as pyrite, hematite, chlorite or galena can gather on the termination faces.
Later, if the pocket is resaturated, another stage of crystal growth can occur.
If the crystal's growth then resumes, over long cycles of geologic time, the dusting of alien minerals covering the crystal's original termination faces is incorporated into a much larger quartz crystal.
This long growth process creates a crystal exhibiting the classic phantom crystal point which can be seen within the larger crystal. Sometimes one can see two or three phantom points within a given crystal wand, and in such cases, the growth process was undoubtedly stopped and started several times over unthinkably long periods of geological time.
The final result is the formation of a phantom crystal much larger than the original crystal structure at the point of growth interruption.
Manifestation Crystals
Manifestation stones exhibit fully formed smaller crystals within the primary crystal. They are very rare!
Manifestation crystals come in two flavors: a small double terminated point that grew totally within the host crystal or a crystal that previously bridged into a larger one and has become enclosed within the host crystal over time. Such a crystal appears totally within the host crystal and appears to grow from the matrix at the crystal's base.
Manifestation crystals are considered by crystal healers to be worlds within worlds, and are used to concentrate energy on a desired outcome in one's life, helping to bring focus, willpower, and the Guidance of Spirit to one's aid in creating a desired reality, a new world, as it were.

Quartz is the low-temperature stable form of silicon dioxide or silica.Silicon and oxygen are the two most common elements in the Earth's crust. Quartz crystal is perhaps the most common mineral found on the face of the Earth. Sand and sandstone are considered clastic forms of quartz by mineralogists, meaning that they are formed of fragments of pre-existing rocks.
Quartz crystals have been used by healers, spiritual teachers, and scientists of the sacred throughout history to receive, transmit, store, focus, amplify, transform and balance the various forms of energy found in our Universe, all of which can be considered to be interchangeable forms of Universal Light.
