This dreamy, Small Unpolished Creamy Angel Quartz Nugget is 1.125 inches long and weighs 15 grams, more than 1/2 of an ounce. Angel Quartz is also called Amphibole Quartz. This specimen comes from Bahia, Brazil.
This stone features a well defined termination tip and a flat, transparent base so it rests easily on your altar. Look through the base and you can see that the interior of the crystal is virtually clear.
This sweet amphibole point is small enough to put in your pocket or medicine bag, or to keep under your pillow, by the beside or on an altar. A client could easily use this to hold during a treatment. It would be easy to place this on a client's body during energy or crystal healing sessions.

Amphibole quartz is the name given to a rock crystal formation consisting mainly of hornblende amphibole, the use of the term being restricted, however, to metamorphic rocks. The word hornblende is derived from the German “horn” meaning “cornucopia”, or “horn of plenty” and “blende”, meaning “to blind or dazzle”.
Hornblende is not a recognized mineral, but is used as a general or field term to refer to a dark amphibole. Hornblende is an isomorphous mixture of three molecules; a calcium-iron-magnesium silicate, an aluminium-iron-magnesium silicate, and an iron-magnesium silicate.
