Gemini Solar Festival, Full Moon Eclipse in Sagittarius, Festival of Humanity, Venus Clothed in Solar Radiance, Saturn Goes Direct and the First Direct Hit of the Dreaded Pluto-Uranus Square
Welcome to Satya Center’s Gemini Solar Festival, Sagittarius Full Moon Eclipse June 2012 Festival of Humanity Cosmic Weather Forecast, brought to you by your Editors, Curtis Lang and Jane Sherry.
The Full Moon occurs this Monday, June 4, at 4:12 AM PDT, or 7:12 AM EDT at 14° 14’ of Sagittarius, opposed by the Sun at 14° 14’ of Gemini.
This month the sky is filled with signs and portents of earth-shaking change, some hopeful, some ominous, and the energy streaming in to us from the Cosmos is so powerful that our very physical vessels are challenged to maintain equilibrium. The task of humanity is to step forward into the Light with courage. The courageous are not necessarily fearless at all. The courageous are those who follow their Higher Purpose despite their fear!
Fortunately, there are a number of auspicious aspects this month, which will help to counteract the effects of the difficult energies we have described.
The Full Moon Eclipse June 4th is followed by a once-in-a-lifetime, very auspicious Venus transit of the Sun June 5th-6th, Jupiter’s entry into the sign of Gemini June 11th, the Summer Solstice at the time the Sun enters Cancer on June 20th, the First Perfected Square of seven squares between Uranus and Pluto June 24th, the Jupiter-Uranus Square June 25th, and the simultaneous Jupiter-Neptune Square, which occurs the same day Saturn goes direct in Libra, also June 25th.
On June 29th, the Sun enters into a pernicious T-square formation with squared off Uranus and Pluto, intensifying the energy of the dreaded Uranus-Pluto Square, as we enter into the heart of the world-changing Grand Cardinal Cross aspects that dominate the early part of the 21st Century, signaling the end of the Industrial Era of HydroCarbon Empires, the implosion of the current neo-liberal global banking system, and the beginning of a new, as yet unknowable era of human civilization marked by intensive global climate change, the breakdown of nation-states, resource wars, extreme natural environmental events, and the potential for further unprecedented human-created environmental catastrophes such as the BP Oil Spill and the ongoing slow-motion nuclear catastrophe at Fukushima, Japan, which threatens to contaminate the entire northern hemisphere of our planet.

“As Venus is the soul ruler of Gemini, its transit of the Sun (or eclipse) during the Gemini full moon period, is most potent. The transit of Venus occurs on June 6, 2012, two days after the exact time of the Gemini full moon of June 4, hence it is energetically well within the full moon period,” Phillip explains.
“Gemini is the third festival of the spiritual new year that commenced in Aries, the three festivals setting the tone for the rest of the year: What was impulsed in Aries, is consolidated upon in Taurus and becomes disseminated in Gemini,” Lindsay continues.
“The energies at the Taurus Wesak festival were reported by many to be very powerful, people felt they had been 'hammered' (in true Vulcan style) and were 'knocked out' for about a week,” Phillip reports. “If this is anything to go by, then Gemini will continue that trend as it distributes these forces out into the world.”
“Venus is the factor that brings about harmony for the warring twins of Gemini, reconciling the pairs of opposites - upon the mental plane particularly. Venus has been prominent in the past couple of months with its retrograde transit through Gemini - a bit like Mercury retrograde!”
“Retrograde periods are always good opportunities to go over themes corresponding to that sign - in this case Gemini: communications and relationships - allowing a release from the previous cycle and engagement in the next one. This is a never-ending spirallic, creative growth process that moves within the greater cosmos,” according to Lindsay.
On a symbolic level the passage of Venus across the face of the Sun represents the Goddess clothed in the subtle fire of the Solar Logos, pouring forth the energy of healing and loving wisdom she embodies upon suffering humanity.
The Venus Transit is an empowering Cosmic Event of world-historical proportions which heralds a new chapter in the ongoing battle for the Soul of Humanity and the Future of Planet Earth.
Make no mistake. There is a spiritual war for humanity’s collective soul and future being waged in realms celestial and earthly in the early 21st century. There are forces who would prevent humanity from ascending, and forces that actively assist struggling spiritual seekers on their path to Higher Consciousness.
There are forces in the world that are attempting to prevent the birth of a new world civilization based on respect for the environment, social justice, and equitable systems of finance, economics and politics based upon sharing the world’s resources rather than domination of others. There are many people, groups, and organizations in the world who are actively engaged in a struggle to bring about world peace, and a new Age of for humanity in partnership with Mother Earth. The division between these polarized groups becomes more starkly evident every day.
There is a spiritual conflict between these two groups, and a political struggle going on as well. Both these conflicts will intensify during the coming years.
So let us rejoice in an influx of energy from the Divine Mother herself, united with the irresistible force of the Solar Logos, and let us ask on this Full Moon for enlightenment, for purification, and for the strength to take our part in this Cosmic battle.
On an individual level, this beautiful Venus Transit of the Sun will be visible in much of North America, and is well worth seeing if it is possible for you. The influx of extremely powerful Goddess energy will attune you to all that is beautiful and loving, joyful and creative in your life, and will enable you to manifest love, joy and creativity to a much greater extent than you have recently thought possible, in the coming months and throughout the coming year.
The Venus transit of the Sun is a Cosmic Sign that the rebalancing of energies within humanity is picking up strength and speed. The preponderance of masculine dominator energy, with its wars, aggression, greed and thoughtless rape of the planet is coming to an end and the energy of the Great Goddess is rising in power everywhere. Gemini Solar Festival of Humanity
Gemini taught the world about multi-tasking and social networking long before the advent of the World Wide Web and Facebook. Gemini is the quintessential sign of nonstop social action, mysterious paradox and multiple personalities, a mutable air sign that is most at home while engaged in computer-mediated crowd-sourcing, old-fashioned people-watching, on and offline schmoozing, and simultaneous orchestration of a clandestine series of impeccably compartmentalized one-on-one affairs behind a scrim of impenetrable privacy.
The Sabian Symbol for this month’s Gemini Solar Festival is “Two Dutch Children Exchanging Knowledge”. Metaphysically speaking, this indicates the need for validation of spiritual experience through observation and the scientific method, which involves replication of experiences induced through similar consciousness expanding techniques and agreement among a community of spiritual practitioners about the form and substance of the individual visions and awareness of subtle energies, higher worlds, and psycho-physical transformations these shared techniques trigger within different practitioners who share a similar language, lineage and worldview.
Now that the consciousness-expanding Festivals of Easter and Wesak have brought us spiritual gifts and guidance, it is time for us all to ground ourselves and share our experiences with others, to seek out a community of like-minded souls, and to willingly share our deepest insights and most private spiritual experiences, to test the validity of our own subjective intuitive guidance, and to add to the community’s storehouse of spiritual practices and spiritual wisdom.
This is a difficult process, because it requires us to be willing to engage in a scientific spirituality, which relies upon confirmation through repeated experience among a community of practitioners rather than a set of beliefs handed down through tradition, by a sacred book, or instilled by spiritual authority figures.
As the Buddha said, ““Believe nothing, no matter where you read it, or who said it, no matter if I have said it, unless it agrees with your own reason and your own common sense.”
Believe nothing, no matter what channeled Source claims to be the authority behind it, unless you can use your discernment to ascertain that it resonates with your own best constructed mental maps of the world, and unless it agrees with your own personal experience, and unless it can be validated by similar experiences achieved independently by your spiritual brothers and sisters.
This month we are reminded by the gregarious Sun in Gemini that although spirituality is a very private pursuit of often ineffable experiences that are fleeting, highly individuated and difficult to verbalize, the practice of spirituality requires a community to insure that the practitioner grows in wisdom, love and discernment, and does not wander off into astral glamours, egoistic delusions, or other illusory forms of consciousness.
The Festival of Humanity
June 4th is the Full Moon Festival of Humanity, also known as the Festival of Goodwill, because this is the day that the Ascended Master Guides and Teachers of all the Mystery Schools of the East and West join together to light the flame of inner wisdom in the minds of humanity - known as Buddha Mind to the Initiates of the East. June 4th is the day the Ascended Masters light the flame of unconditional love in the heart of humanity.
This is the third of the three great spring festivals of the Universal Interfaith Spirituality of the New Age. The first festival of Easter celebrates the resurrection of Jesus Christ. The second festival celebrates the birth of the Buddha, his enlightenment and death, and is called Wesak. Wesak was celebrated during last month’s full moon. The Festival of Humanity is the third.
The Festival of Humanity follows fast upon the Christian feast of Pentecost, which is appropriate because Pentecost is a Feast celebrating the Ascension practices of an entire community -- the community of the Apostles of Jesus Christ, who were transformed on Pentecost by a visit from the Holy Spirit.
Pentecost occurred on May 27, 2012, and the spiritual benefits of that Feast are still resonating in the etheric body of the Earth this weekend.
The Pentecost Blessing impelled the Apostles to travel the Earth, and resulted in the establishment of the Christian religion and the spread of Christian Mystery School practices to hundreds of millions of people over the centuries.
When the Holy Spirit descended upon the Apostles at Pentecost, they entered a higher state of consciousness, and traveled near and far, spreading their Teacher’s message of love fearlessly throughout the world. The Apostles healed many by prayer and the laying on of hands. The miraculous events of Pentecost bear a startling resemblance to the signs of enlightenment discussed for thousands of years in the ancient Hindu tradition of yoga.

The Festival of Humanity is also a Feast celebrating the distribution of blessings, empowerment and the gifts of the Holy Spirit to a globally distributed network of disciples, seekers, Lightworkers, and meditators.
During June’s Full Moon Festival of Humanity, the love of Christ and the wisdom of the Buddha are showered down upon the Earth. At this time, spiritual disciples of all paths and lineages and religions around the world receive inspiration and instructions concerning their roles and duties for the upcoming year.
The Hierarchy of Spiritual Guides and Teachers overseeing humanity’s spiritual evolution join with the Cosmic Christ and provide a roadmap of the coming seasonal cycle to all disciples, planting the seeds for all the spiritual activities that disciple are being urged to undertake during the next year.
Most importantly, the Hierarchy and the Cosmic Christ engulf the entire planet with a powerful high-frequency energetic charge known as The Will to Good, which is distributed through power-spots around the world to all willing recipients.
This energy acts as a powerful stimulant, strengthening the will forces in struggling humanity, and acts as a beneficent power surge, impelling disciples on all paths to internalize the energy of Goodwill, to act with Goodwill toward all, and to strive to establish right human relations in all their activities.
The energy released on the Full Moon Festival of Humanity circulates throughout the etheric body of planet Earth for three full nights and days.
The Festival of Humanity is one of the three great Festivals that were established by the Theosophists during the early part of the 20th century as part of a drive to establish a global spiritual practice that would embrace all religions and spiritual paths around the world, uniting the wisdom teachings of East and West. Alice Bailey, who coined the term “New Age”, was the instrument for telepathic communication from Ascended Master Guides and Teachers who wished to create these Festivals as the cornerstone of a new spirituality for all humanity.
The following information is from the Lucis Trust website, and the Lucis Trust is the organization that is carrying forward the work of Alice Bailey in the present time worldwide.
“The widespread sense that [humanity is] reaching a turning point is founded in the esoteric recognition that our planet is facing a crisis so sweeping that it is affecting even the highest levels of existence upon our planet, in preparation for the attaining of a new balance,” explains the Lucis Trust 2012 newsletter concerning the three great spiritual festivals. “The timing of this crisis was underscored in a passage from the writings of Alice Bailey dated February 1949 which spoke of ‘the finality of the decision which the next two generations will be forced to make’. If a generation is approximately 25 to 30 years, that time of decision is now.”
“The new group of world servers is the name given in the Alice Bailey writings to the subjective network of servers who act as a mediating group, a bridge, between the Hierarchy and humanity. Its members are all those men and women of intelligent goodwill who are actively engaged, consciously or unconsciously, in serving the divine Plan. This group includes representatives in all fields of human endeavour who are working to establish right human relations and to bring in the new ideas on which a sounder, more integrated world, in which the forces of spirit and matter are more correctly balanced, must be based.”
All those who wish to participate in this Festival of Humanity with the New Group of World Servers would do well to set aside some time during the evening of the Full Moon and for the next two nights for deep meditation.
To enhance your receptivity to these beneficent energies try these activities on the three nights of the Festival and throughout the coming week:
If you are unable to meditate at the exact time of the full moon, choose a time within 12 hours before or after the full moon to be part of this global meditation.
Simply sit alone, or join with other like-minded individuals and visualize the planet Earth surrounded by a grid of light.
The Christ Consciousness Grid, actually a set of seven grids in rainbow colors that surrounds the Earth, is in the form of a pentagonal dodecahedron with icosahedral caps. The Grid is said to play a crucial part in the quickening of humanity’s evolving spiritual consciousness at this time.
”Sacred geometry is the expression of geometry related to the evolution of consciousness, mind, body, and spirit in geometric terms,” explains Ronald Holt, Director of Flower of Life Research. “True sacred geometry is not just static angular forms. Place a flower on your altar or near your place of meditation. Place a bowl of water on your altar or near your seat. If you have some water you gathered during the Wesak Full Moon Festival, use that water at this time as an offering to Grandmother Earth.
If possible, light a candle to represent the kindling of the spirit, the awakening of the Higher Mind and the flame of compassion lit within the open heart. You may also burn some incense or sage, to create a spiral pathway from earth to sky, sending an offering to those Beings of Light who join their energies to ours during this Full Moon Festival.
Say The Great Invocation aloud:
“From the point of light within the mind of God let light stream forth into our minds. Let light descend on Earth.
From the point of love within the heart of God let love stream forth into our hearts. May love increase on Earth.
From the Center where the will of God is known, let purpose guide our wills, the purpose which the Masters know and serve.
From the Center which we call humanity let the plan of love and light work out, and may it seal the door where evil dwells.
Let light and love and power restore the plan on Earth. Let light and love and power restore the plan on Earth. Let light and love and power restore the planet Earth.”
Then sit in meditation, for as long as is suitable for you.
Finally, when you are finished, thank your fellow lightworkers, the New Group of World Servers, the Spiritual Guides and Teachers of the Wisdom Schools of the East and West, and Grandmother Earth.
Drink the water in your bowl, save for a small amount, which you may sprinkle on living plants or grasses, preferably outside your dwelling, as a final offering to the Earth, and to the devas and nature spirits who work so diligently to optimize, structure and regulate the forces vivifying the natural world.
Full Moon Eclipse in Sagittarius
This month a partial lunar eclipse during the Full Moon in Sagittarius indicates a Cosmic occlusion of the energies streaming from the moon as the Earth’s shadow engulfs a large portion of the lunar light.
The flow of subtle energies flowing from the Moon is disrupted by the lunar eclipse, and in particular, according to ancient Vedic tradition, the Sattvic component of that energy flow is greatly diminished while the energies of Rajas and Tamas are greatly increased.
Sattva, Rajas and Tamas are the three Gunas, or qualities of Universal Life Force Energy that determine the characteristics of Universal creation on the macroscopic level and the characteristics of the individual human being’s mental, emotional, physical and spiritual health and well-being, on the Earth plane.
Sattvic energy is the high spiritual energy of creation, associated with peace, tranquility and equilibrium, while Rajas is the aggressive fiery energy of creation, and Tamas is the leaden energy of inertia and entropy, and hence, of destruction.
Since a lunar eclipse creates elevated levels of Rajas and Tamas, it is most important for spiritual practitioners of all paths and traditions to shield themselves from the energy of the occluded moon, and to increase the quality and quantity of their spiritual practices to elevate the subtle Sattvic energies in their own bodies, homes, and meditation spaces.
It would be wise to avoid looking directly at the occluded full moon if possible, during a period of several hours before and after the moment of complete fullness. This should be fairly easy for most people in North America since the Full Moon will occur very early Monday morning during most people’s sleep cycle.
The Vedas explain that various foods have qualities that correspond to the three Gunas, and this is one of the pillars of Ayurvedic medicine and the practice of yoga.
It would be wise this Full Moon weekend to try to adhere more closely to a diet of Sattvic foods and avoid foods high in Rajasic and Tamasic energies.
Sattvic foods are said to constitute the most purifying diet possible, the diet which is most nourishing for body, mind and spirit.
Sattvic foods include:
■ cereals
■ wholemeal bread
■ fresh fruit and vegetables
■ pure fruit juices
■ milk
■ butter and cheese
■ legumes
■ nuts
■ seeds
■ sprouted seeds
■ honey and herb teas
Rajasic foods are hot, bitter, sour, dry and salty, and tend to over-stimulate the body and mind. Eating any food too quickly will increase the Rajasic energies.
Rajasic foods include:
■ hot substances, such as sharp spices or strong herbs
■ stimulants such as coffee and teas
■ fish
■ eggs
■ salt and chocolate
Tamasic foods are said to decrease the body’s natural immune system, decrease the flow of Universal Life Force Energy or prana throughout the mind-body-auric field, and feed the mind’s tendencies to embrace negative emotions such as anger and greed. Overeating is said to increase Tamasic energies.
Tamasic food includes:
■ meat
■ alchohol
■ tobacco
■ onions
■ garlic
■ fermented foods such as vinegar
■ stale overripe substances
The Sabian symbol for this month’s Full Moon in Sagittarius is “The Ground Hog Looking for Its Shadow”, indicating the need for humanity to engage in a process of prognostication, using powers of intellectual discernment found in Higher Mind, along with the powers of spiritual guidance and Intuition to perform “Scenario Planning” and make a more conscious effort to map out several probable paths forward during this extremely confused and confusing, conflicted and tumultuous period of human existence.

The Summer Solstice
The month of June brings us the longest day of the year known as the Summer Solstice when the sun is at its zenith. This festival was called St. John's Day in the European Mystery School tradition, and has been a traditional time of community celebrations all over the world & throughout history.
It is a time for flowers, for weddings & betrothals, a time for community bonfires & dancing and singing in the fields.
The Summer Solstice occurs when the sun enters the zodiacal sign of Cancer, on Wednesday June 20, 2012. It is one of the four solar holidays of ancient peoples and remains sacred to many people today. These four solar holidays are the Summer & Winter Solstices, and the Spring & Autumnal Equinoxes. Together they delineate the great Cosmic Wheel of the four seasons.
In the northern hemisphere the Summer Solstice is the moment when the sun begins its metaphorical descent into the underworld and days again begin to grow shorter. St. John's Day, celebrated on June 24, birthdate of St. John the Baptist, is one of those Christian holy days which is synchronistic with the earlier, perhaps original (pagan) holy day of the Summer Solstice.
The Solstice is a moment of reversal. In previous seasons, Cosmic forces have been streaming into the Earth's aura and penetrating deeply into the biofields surrounding all living beings, quickening the flow of life force energy and strengthening the will forces within each of us, creating the templates for growth of plants, animals and humans alike.
