The world is in labor, about to birth a new planetary consciousness. Will this consciousness reflect our worst nightmares or our highest aspirations? The choice is ours.

Our challenge this Full Moon Festival is to overcome fear, take courageous risks to advance the onset of the Forces of Light and Love, patiently endure the frustrations of a time when oppositions create a kind of Cosmic gridlock in the stars, and meditate deeply upon matters of human death and transformation. This can lead to empowerment.

This month’s Cosmic Weather patterns are dominated by a long-standing mutable T-square which is entering its three month peak March 23, and persisting through June 29, 2016. Celebrate Easter, Spring Equinox and Holi by joining us in meditations outlined in this newsletter.

This Mercurial Full Moon in Gemini will be in a harmonious trine to Mars, which entered the Air sign of Aquarius on December 4, 2014, and the combination should create a powerful vortex of transpersonal mental activity that will sharpen the intellectual faculties, provide easier access to Higher Mind, and spark a strong increase in spontaneous sharing, amplifying Holiday feelings of community.

Auspicious planetary forces will harmonize conflicting energies this Wesak Full Moon Festival. That's good because the long-term Cosmic Weather Forecast is conflicted. We must soon manage the looming end of the Industrial Revolution, raging religious and resource wars, peak oil, environmental catastrophes and the decline of the American Empire.

Today is the Festival of Humanity, celebrated during the Full Moon in Sagittarius. The Sabian symbol for this degree of Sagittarius is this: "Cupid knocks at the door of a human heart." This is a Full Moon for lovers!

This Easter Festival, we are being provided with an infusion of loving wisdom directly from the Christ, intended to help us in the difficult task of opening our hearts to one another in these troubled times and empowering us to help those least among us. Let us RISE to the occasion!

By consistent practice and the Grace of the Divine, we can transform our hearts and our energy signatures. We can alchemically transmute the lead of egotistical rationality into the gold of Unity consciousness. We can eventually transform our hearts from leaden mirrors that can at best occasionally be cleaned sufficiently to reflect the Holy Spirit in some small way into luminous light-giving Sources of energy, true inner tabernacles lit by undimmable lamps of radiance serving as the suitably purified homes of Spirit.

During this Full Moon Festival, the love of Christ and the wisdom of the Buddha are showered down upon the Earth. Spiritual disciples of all paths and lineages and religions receive inspiration and instructions concerning their roles and duties for the upcoming year.

High in the Himalayas there lies a remote valley, circumscribed by lofty mountain ranges. On the third day prior to the May Full Moon, a slow but steady stream of adepts, high lamas, magi, monks, and seekers travel through a small funnel shaped opening in the mountains.

This Full Moon is conjunct dark Pluto and the Galactic Center. Pluto in Sagittarius supports the transformation of our culture’s most basic belief structures. When Pluto is conjunct the moon, which is the seat of our personal subconscious beliefs, and also the Galactic Center, the time is ripe for a total shift in consciousness, a transformation of personal and cultural values on the broadest possible scale.
