This extremely rare, 7.3 inch long Long 6 Petal 144 Facet Master Cut Vogel Phi Crystal Healing Wand, weighing 378 grams, 13.3 ounces, or .83 pounds, was cut by Brazilian Crystal Cutter and Healer Ray Pinto, and is extraordinary in every way. We got this amazing new Vogel Wand from Ray in July 2022.
This amazing professional lightworker's tool is large but because it was cut according to principles of sacred geometry, this wand fits comfortably in the hand and works well during long meditations or energy treatments.
The female termination tip of this Vogel Phi crystal looks like a small pyramid, because this wand was cut to mimic the proportions of the Great Pyramid at Giza, which is thought to be a mammoth antenna and amplifier for Universal Life Force Energy, built with Phi ratio proportionality.
There are a couple of tiny mica like rainbow inclusions deep within the wand in the upper end of the shaft near the male termination tip, but they come nowhere near the flawless surface of this beautiful wand, and indicate it was indeed cut from natural Brazilian quartz crystal from Ray's family's mine, and is not laboratory quartz.

Marcel Vogel worked for IBM for 27 years doing research and development. He developed the magnetic coating for IBM’s disc drive, which acts as the storage unit for a computer's memory, he created the first liquid crystal displays, or LCDs.

From his experimental work with crystals, Vogel learned that by pointing a crystal at another person, the crystal would amplify the person’s thoughts and emotions. This often also led to putting the individual into an altered state of consciousness. The next step was for Vogel to utilize the quartz crystals for therapeutic purposes.
“The crystal is a neutral object whose inner structure exhibits a state of perfection and balance,” according to crystal researcher Marcel Vogel, a senior scientist with IBM for 27 years. “When it's cut to the proper form and when the human mind enters into relationship with its structural perfection, the crystal emits a vibration which extends and amplifies the powers of the human mind. Like a laser, it radiates energy in a coherent, highly concentrated form, and this energy may be transmitted into objects or people at will.”
Marcel Vogel sought to use the power of science and of the lapidary arts to perfect crystalline forms of nature in order to maximize their potential for receiving, amplifying and transmitting Universal Life Force Energy charged with the intent to heal and with the force of love.
Vogel cut his crystals to harmonize with the natural quartz structure to enhance the energetic properties of the wand for healing purposes, and the result is also aesthetically pleasing.
The male termination tip of this gorgeous healing wand is fashioned to form an extremely sharp tip designed to maximize the coherence and strength of energy streaming from the wand, while the female termination tip was cut to approximate the interior angle of 51 degrees, 51 minutes and 51 seconds, the same angle as the Great Pyramid of Giza.

As the prana spirals down the shaft of the wand, the energy stream is amplifed every time it encounters a facet on the shaft. The Triangular Vogel Healing Wand has three large faces on the shaft, and three narrow faces, all of which narrow down as the shaft approaches the terination tip.
The super-charged energy stream coalesces at the male end of the wand, and is emitted as a highly coherent laser-like beam for use in meditation, vibrational healing and subtle communications.
Energy and crystal healers prize Vogel cut quartz crystals to this day. The art of cutting crystals for use in healing requires extensive knowledge of the high art of jewel-cutting, an intuitive feel for the subtle energies involved, and an awareness of the needs of the energy healer who will be using the wand.
Faceted crystal wands claiming to be Vogel type crystals vary widely in quality, craftsmanship, and price.
The most important thing to remember in working with faceted crystals for healing is that the purpose of the faceting should be to amplify and transmit an increasingly coherent stream of energy to a subject.
Some hexagonal quartz crystal wands occur naturally with six more or less equilateral sides and more or less equal triangular termination facets. Energy healers discovered that these six sided wands amplifed the energy being transmitted by the wand when the termination facets on the female end created a more obtuse angle and when the termination facets on the male end created a more acute angle.
In a naturally formed quartz crystal of somewhat irregular shape and symmetry, the energy within the crystal tends to move through the crystal in a less directed way than the Vogel style cuts.
But when a crystal had a very definite symmetry, especially the hexagonal symmetry, then the energy gathers in the larger, receptive end of the crystal, and if directed by a knowledgeable human hand, travels in a series of tighter and tighter concentric circles around the interior of the crystal, and down into the tip of the male end of the crystal, where it would be emitted as a much more coherent stream of energy.
Energy healers also discovered that when the sharp male tip of the healing wand is congruent with the C-axis of the crystal, exactly centered within the circle formed when you look head-on at the male end of the crystal, this made the energetic flow stronger and more coherent.

Marcel Vogel's healing wands were refined artistic versions of this well-known type of natural healing wands. Good Vogel wands should have precisely equal facets, good clarity, preferably 90% or more, a well-defined C-axis that runs parallel to the shaft, and termination tips centered in the very middle of the shaft. The male and female terminations should be sharp, and the male should be more acute than the female. The female termination should be larger than the male tip.

Kabbalistic scholars say that the Hebrew name for Eden is “Mem Daleth Kuf”, which has a numerical value of 144.
According to Christian mysticism, the number one hundred expresses the Unit(y) of the divine world (the Unit(y) of God) 4 x 10 symbolizes the stability of the angelic world, 4 x (1) Unit symbolizes the eternal stability of the Holy City, whose form is precisely a cube. The Holy City represents material creation, our Universe.
In the Douay-Rheims Bible, in Revelation, we read how a new heaven and a new earth appeared after the destruction of the old creation at the end of days, and a New Jerusalem appears in the heavens as well.
John, the narrator of the Book of Revelation, explains how an angel took him for a heavenly tour of the New Jerusalem: “And he measured the wall thereof an hundred and forty-four cubits, the measure of a man, which is of an angel.” (Rev. 21:17).
Here the number 144 is identified as the measure of the macrocosm, the New Jerusalem, of the spiritual servants of the Lord, the angelic hosts, and of the creatures situated midway between the macrocosm and the microcosm, human beings.
Mathematicians know that 144 is a Fibonacci number. (0, 1, 1, 2, 3, 5, 8, 13, 21, 34, 55, 89, 144, 233...) The ratio of each successive pair (5/3, 8/5, 233/144) equals phi, or 1.618033988749895.

Phi is known as the Golden Ratio, Section, or Mean. Graphed it is a spiral. The golden mean is not a number; it is a relationship, called a ratio.
The golden mean is one of the key elements of sacred geometry, and the spiral forms that exist in nature corresponding to the Fibonacci series can be found in plants, animals, DNA strands, many examples of sacred architecture, and even in the shape and structure of entire galaxies. The number of seeds in a sunflower, the petals of any flower, the arrangement of pine cones, the growth of a nautilus shell, etc...all follow the same pattern of these series.
The overwhelming evidence indicates that the Fibonacci Series was known to the Ancient Egyptians. Many Ancient Egyptian plans of temples and tombs, throughout the history of Ancient Egypt, show along their longitudinal axis and transversely, dimensions in cubits of 1.72' (0.523 m), giving in consecutive terms the Fibonacci Series: (2, 3, 5, 8, 13, 21, 34, 55, 89, 144, 233, 377, 610, . . .)
The ancient Greeks knew of a rectangle whose sides are in the golden proportion (1 : 1.618 which is the same as 0.618 : 1). A construction for the golden section point is found in Euclid's Elements. The golden rectangle appears in many of the proportions of that famous ancient Greek temple, the Parthenon, in the Acropolis in Athens, Greece but there is no original documentary evidence that this was deliberately designed in.
Three of the five Platonic solids, the building blocks of the Universe, contain sections constructed from phi ratios. These are the octahedron, dodecahedron and icosahedron.
The golden mean, or golden number or divine proportion was a major obsession of Italian Renaissance artists, philosophers and mystics. Fra Luca Pacioli (1445-1517) in his Divina proportione (On Divine Proportion) wrote about the golden mean:

Pacioli makes it clear that the golden mean is a fractal, a rough or fragmented geometric shape that can be split into parts, each of which is (at least approximately) a reduced-size copy of the whole, a property called self-similarity.
New Jerusalem, angel and human being, for instance, all have fractal properties.
Leonardo da Vinci, Albrecht Durer, Georges Seurat, Mondrian and countless other luminaries of Western art history all utilized the golden mean in their compositions.

Leonardo’s Vitruvian Man, composed in 1487, illustrates the fact that the human body (and the pentagram) is constructed in a constellation of harmonious parts conforming to the golden mean, a set of self-similar fractal structures based upon the phi ratio.
