This photo captures the sensual presence of the white peony, another in my erotic flower series. The white peony is always a welcome sight in early spring in our backyard garden. The peony, with its blush of rose color highlighting the center of the virginal white flower, has an intoxicating aroma that overpowers the other floral scents competing for insect attention as part of the pollination ritual characterizing the time of increasing light and promise of renewal every year following winter's garden slumber.
White Peony is offered as a signed, limited edition of 250, printed on 8.5" x 11" archival matte paper to help bring out its rich and subtle tones.
