The Weather is Out of Balance

Gather Friday January 13th, 9 A.M. Mountain Time Much of the U.S. American Southwest is drying up this winter. My home of Sedona, Arizona is dry as a bone. Fires rampage in mid-winter through Texas, New Mexico, Colorado and Oklahoma. The mountains are barren of snow. The winter rains have not come.
Meanwhile, Japan and China are being buried under 3 meters of snow! The California coast has been deluged. The weather is askew, imbalance is evident. We must awaken to our responsibility and ability to engage the re-harmonization of the weather.
Even if you have received too much precipitation, help restore balance by participating in this Call:
Gather!
Gather in Appreciation of Precipitation. This Friday, January 13th, at 9 AM Arizona time (11 AM Eastern, 10 AM Central, 9 AM Mountain, 8 AM Pacific. International, please adjust to your time zone).
While holding a glass of water in your hands, hold the water to your heart and reside within Appreciation. Appreciation of the rain, of water and all its values and blessings it brings in our lives and upon this planet. Water, the primary constituent of Life. Rain, the replenishment of fresh water upon all the planet. In that inward place, from Appreciation, feel the rain falling upon your face, head tilted back, mouth open to receive the drops of water falling from the sky. Smell the rain, the crisp smell of ozone. Hear the rain drops hitting the ground as thunder rolls through the air. Be in fullest Appreciation of Rain! Pour the first bit of water upon the Earth (Yes, a potted plant will suffice. Or even your lap, if need be), extending to the Earth and all her Creatures the blessings of the rain. Then drink the water down, experiencing it slide into your body, carrying with it all the blessings of Appreciation that you have evoked. The water carries these blessings with it, seeping into every cell of your body, transmitting the blessing into your Being, which then acts as a command at a cellular level for you to live, act and express yourself in accord with those blessings of Appreciation called forth.
Thats it. No need to mutter words of propitiation to some Archangel of This-or-That, nor to beg some deity for a favor. This is not a call for manifestation, setting the circle and burning a candle, incense and offerings. It is a call for Appreciation of Precipitation. There is nothing to DO, beyond participating. There is only to BE... to BE in Appreciation of Precipitation!
What? You say you would love to join in but...
-Your favorite TV show is on? - Turn it off!
-You are getting your children ready for school at that time? - Place a glass of water in their hands and let them participate.
-It is your meditation time? - Then let this BE your meditation for this one morning.
-You are flying on a plane? - Ask the aisle assistant for a glass of water.
-You are just too busy? - What is of more importance than the reestablishment of our relationship with the fundamental necessity of rain upon the Earth?
-I'm still asleep at that time! - Get up, get out of bed!
-I'll be driving on the freeway. - Pull over at the next exit and find a bit of earth to stand upon.
-I don't do stuff like this. - Time to start. MAKE IT NOW!
There is no excuse that can be more valid than the needs of this Earth.
When was the last time you relieved yourself upon the earth (have you never?!)? Did you say you were going to 'take (take?...somehow unimaginably) a leak'? What if you were to shift from 'taking a leak' to 'Giving Water to the Earth'? Then, all of a sudden, you are participating in the grand design of nature, becoming a part of the natural flow of water in its cycles. Try it, just once even.
Participate in Creation!
The Spirits of the Weather cannot be bribed nor convinced. Appreciation is what sets them into motion. When we complain about the weather: "Ooh. Its going to be a bad day filled with rain and storms." or "An ugly snow blizzard is headed this way.", then Spirits of the Weather respond: "Oh, you don't like the rain/snow? Ok, then we will hold it back." Then, when the rains do not come and the farmers' fields blow away in dust, it is too dry to light a campfire or Sweat Lodge fire, the snows are not sufficient for skiing, then we holler around saying "Where is the rain and snow? My crops/vacation/recreation is ruined." then the Spirits of the Weather respond: "Oh. We thought you did not like the precipitation. Now you want it? Well here, we have been holding it for you." And what happens next? Torrential downpours, flooding and/or a burying of snow follows. Why? Because the Weather Spirits really seek to please us. They respond to our calls. Lets halt the crazy-making madness. Lets simply BE. In Appreciation. Lets BE in Appreciation of Precipitation!
 Yes, I know the language of this letter is not very politically correct. Nor is it filled with some New Age fluff about everything being in divine order. We live in an Interactive Creation, not a passive/receptive hologram. Well, I've never been a stickler for being PC, and I'm not a New Ager. I am a Caretaker of the Earth, and this is a call to participate, when all that we talk about is on the line. The time is now. Let's gather together. Don't send your money, I'm not looking for any. We will stand in Presence and be the conduits for the outflow of Appreciation for Precipitation generated at this moment from around the world. We will give the gathering of Appreciation forth to our Earth Mother, Sky Father and the Weather Spirits, that they may know: In its appropriate season and measure to the needs of the Earth; We Appreciate Precipitation!
Participate from where you are. Stand with your feet in the Great Mother Ocean, walking high in the Andes, deep in the Amazon, upon a gondola in Venice, in your rocking chair on your front porch, at the window of your 24th floor apartment. Gather! Weave your threads of Appreciation into a tapestry of this call for Appreciation of Precipitation! If your area needs rain/snow, certainly weave that into your Appreciation as well.
