I was first introduced to these magical Boji stones back in Texas in 1984 & at the time they changed my life! I had suffered from a deep personal loss & was experiencing the many levels of loss & mourning such as low energy, depression & especially a kind of numbness or absence of feeling.
When I held the first Boji stone I was introduced to in my hands, I almost jumped, because it felt as though it was inhabited by a little being, a very benevolent being. I felt the stone move or vibrate quite strongly & it seemed to shock me out of a kind of sleepwalking through my life. I immediately experienced a shift in focus, feeling, perceptions & my energy field lightened & unburdened itself. I recall thinking how benevolent our dear Mother Earth is, to give us such amazing magical tools as stones which are inhabited by Intelligence, reflecting the Divine Plan.
That's my story & the story of the geology of these amazing Earth treasures from Kansas are just as unique. It is believed they contain Pyrite, Palladium (a rare & precious metal) & are either smooth (considered to be the female stone) or rough or bumpy (considered to be the male stone). The name Boji is actually a trademarked name, by the woman who's family discovered the stones on their property. It is believed by some geologists to be a stone left behind by meteors or from the dawn of our planet's creation.
These Boji stones are prized by the metaphysical community for their ability to clear 'gunk' out of our energetic field, to assist us in grounding with our planet, for balancing the right/left sides of our brains or equilibrating the yin/yang or female/male aspects of ourselves. Pyrite consists of very heavy, hard, yet fragile Iron Sulfide crystals, usually cubic or octahedral in shape.
Pyrite is often found in veins of gold-bearing quartz, and is often located in plutonic, volcanic, and metamorphic rock formations.
