This is a new item for us to carry at Satya Center. We've had requests for chakra stone jewelry so we thought we'd get this lovely pendant for those of you who want to experience wearing a stone for each chakra. Of course, some of the best ways to light up those chakras is by doing any kind of inner work, such as journeying, dreamwork, meditation, japa, pranayama, yoga or some kind of spiritual work. However, if you don't have the time, a teacher or the inclination to try any of those activities, you can always try wearing this lovely jewelry and see what happens!

The jewels set onto this chakra stone pendant are as follows from top to bottom: Amethyst, Iolite, Blue Topaz, Peridot, Golden Deep Citrine, Light Citrine & Garnet at the bottom for the root chakra. All of these stones are gemstones we have carried or do carry now on other pendants & I'll give you a brief description here.

Properties of Amethyst

Amethyst (for the crown chakra) is good for spiritual cleansing & purification & helps us connect with the Divine. The word "iolite" comes from the Greek meaning "violet stone". Iolite is considered to resonate with a very high frequency energy signature, which corresponds to the violet color of the crown chakra in the Western chakra system. Thus Iolite is considered to be one of the premier gemstones for opening the third eye and crown chakras, and is said to stimulate clairaudience, clairsentience, and clairvoyance.

Iolite (for the third eye chakra) is also considered to be a stone useful in astral travel and shamanic journeying. In addition, Iolite is said to harmonize the male and female aspects within the bearer, to equilibrate the right and left hand sides of the brain, and to facilitate the harmonious expression of love within committed relationships.

Properties of Topaz

Topaz is known as a stone of love and worldly success. In my work with peridot, I have found it to be a very magical stone, allowing access to the Divine world & work of Nature Spirits, personal Angelic Guides & access to my own Higher Star Self. The color green is associated with the fourth, or heart chakra, the mental body, issues of relationship, universal feelings of unity and compassion, and individual beliefs and values. Metaphysical crystal experts say that peridot radiates a warm, relaxing and cleansing energy, related especially to the third and fourth chakras.

Properties of Citrine

Deep Golden Citrine (for the third chakra) combines the energy of the Yellow and the Golden Rays, activating the solar plexus chakra. Working on the third chakra, which is the solar plexus chakra, associated in the Western mystery school tradition with the color yellow, citrine strengthens the bearer's energy system and infuses the "hara" center and solar plexus with Universal Life Force Energy, also known as "chi" or "prana" in the Chinese and Hindu systems of energy medicine.

An open, healthy Manipura chakra is likened by yogis to a radiant sun, and is a storehouse of the individual's prana, or chi energy. Properties of Garnet

Garnets have been used for millennia in shamanistic healing and spiritual traditions across the globe, by Native American Indians, Aztecs, Mayans, and African medicine men and healers. Garnet is also one of the stones found in the breastplate of the Israeli High Priest in the Old Testament.

Garnets typically are used by spiritual healers to transmute negative energy or stuck energy within a sick person into healthy energy, and to restore the proper flow of life force energy throughout the individual's body.

The red color of the garnet indicates its affinity with the root chakra, normally associated with the color red in the Western chakra system. In addition, this garnet works to energize the "hara" center, located about two fingers width below the navel, which is the location where the individual's "chi", "prana" or universal life force energy is stored.
