Phenacite occurs in nature as white to colorless hexagonal prismatic crystals with rhombohedral faces. Harder than quartz, it is relatively rare. The difficult to find transparent crystals are sometimes faceted for use as gemstones. Most of our collection is from Burma. Our source tells us that crystals exhibiting the clarity and elegance of our present collection are extremely rare, perhaps a "once in a lifetime" find. Exhibiting a much higher vibrational frequency than quartz, a small phenacite crystal can open and energize the entire chakra system, stimulate the spinal column, & connect the intellectual centers with Higher Mind. Although these crystals are basically colorless they exhibit a golden glow -- light emanates from within them.
