“In August of 2008, my wife Kathy and I traveled to Santa Fe, New Mexico, where we were both invited to offer presentations at the Sophia conference, hosted by the School of Spiritual Psychology,” Simmons explains. “When we were shown into our sleeping accommodations, one of the first things I noticed was a colorful five-inch chunk of stone on a shelf right in front of the door. After putting down our suitcases, I picked up the salmon-pink, white-spotted rock, and I held it up to my chest.”

“Within moments I could feel sweet, swirling currents pleasantly circulating in and around my heart,” Simmons continues. “The currents felt both strong and gentle, nourishing and inspiring, healing and even playful.”

Simmons searched the canyons and arroyos throughout the area and took samples back home to Vermont, and discovered that all those who felt the energy of the new “stones of Sophia”, as Simmons called them, were surprised by the warmth generated in their heart, and the feelings of joy, love and compassion that followed.

Simmons returned to the area, and searched until he found enough of the new mineral find to offer stones for sale to the public.

“Rosophia can help overcome feelings of lack of self-worth, fear of the future, mistrust of other people and all kinds of stress-related difficulties,” Robert Simmons says. “It aids in freeing oneself from negative patterns created by old wounds, in this life or past lives, and it helps one to recall repressed material, in order to release it. Azeztulite is the name given to certain varieties and energetically activated strains of Quartz found in parts of Vermont and North Carolina in the USA, in India and elsewhere. They are usually white or colorless to golden in color. Only Golden Azeztulite forms in prismatic points.

The Azeztulite were first introduced through the mediumship of  Naisha and brought to Robert Simmons' attention over a decade ago. After working with Azeztulite, eventually, the discovery of "more stones carrying the Azeztulite currents, in Vermont, North Carolina, Colorado, and even as far away as India was brought to light.

The identification of these currents is neceassarily a subjective one. Chemically, everything identified as Azeztulite is quartz.

"The initial impulse of Azeztulite's currents in me caused very powerful pulsations in my third eye and crown chakras, with more subdued resonating pulsations in my heart," recounts Robert Simmons in his new book Stones of the New Consciousness. "The throat chakra played the role of a current-carrying connecting link between the two areas."

". . .Seeing light in the interior of the skull is one of the hallmarks of Azeztulite, and as I meditated, I experienced vivid inner imagery and sensations of undulating liquid currents of White Light in my skull," Simmons continues. "These currents were accompanied by pleasurable sensations that were hard to compare to any others. The feeling is somewhat as if consciousness is being sweetly caressed by angelic hands, and these hands work with a purpose, for they are not only there to soothe the consciousness; they are much more there to work Light and expansion into one's consciousness."

"The tingling sensation many people feel after and while holding Azeztulite signifies the reverent response of our physical and etheric bodies to the current of the Nameless Light," Simmons explains. "Wearing Azeztulite, sleeping with it or meditating with it are all ways to open one-self to receiving its profound spiritual gifts. The complement of Light is what we might call the darkness of matter. This is not an evil darkness but a fertile one, like the womb. In the expression of this that we can experience through the stones, one could say that the Light of Azeztulite represnts the masculine Logos and that the dark of Rosophia, or of the Earth as Rosophia expresses it, is the feminine. My heart says that the love of the Earth longs for the Light of heaven, and that the Light of heaven reaches out for the intimate love of the Earth. Azeztulite and Rosopohia are a mated pair in the world of stones when they are allowed to meet one another through us. There is no pair of stones that I recommend with more enthusiasm than these.

Jane and I first experienced these stones at the 2009 Denver Gem & Mineral Show, when Robert Simmons gifted us with two pairs of twin necklaces made up of long strands of tiny tumbled Azeztulite and Rosophia stones.

Jane and I have enjoyed meditating with these necklaces immensely.
