This portrait of early spring Magnolia blooms reminds me of ancient Chinese landscape art. (The image above is a closeup detail of the photograph.) The photo was shot under our favorite tree in our backyard when we lived in Pleasantville, New York, a suburban town in Westchester County, about 30 miles north of Manhattan. The magnolia blossoms in springtime seem to be lit from within. Magnolia Chinese is offered in a signed, limited edition of 250,  printed on 8.5" x 11" semi-gloss photo paper.
