The following meditation is practiced upon awakening in the morning, before you get out of bed. It only takes 5-10 minutes. This powerful little meditation is a great way to start the day and increase positivity in your life.
Round One: Moving Radiant Light Through Your Body
Sit up in bed upon waking in the morning, cross your legs, and fold your hands in your lap. Close your eyes. Internally repeat the following line of words:
"Divine Radiant Light surrounds, permeates, and infuses my whole body"
Next, imagine and feel Divine Radiant Light entering the top of your head.
Divine Radiant Light shines on top of your head — allow it to briefly swirl and accumulate. Now move the light through your brain, your eyes and ears, onwards into your neck and shoulders.
Allow the light to swirl and accumulate in your neck and shoulders.
Now move separate paths of light into each of your shoulders, down through your arms.
Feel it swirl and move through your biceps, past your elbows, through your forearms, into your hands and fingers.
Bring your attention back to your neck and shoulders to the remaining pool of light.
Now feel this light swirl and move through your back and spine, through your torso, through your lower back, into your hips and base of your spine — where it again swirls and accumulates.
As you sit cross-legged, move separate paths of light into your buttocks and legs, through your thigh muscles, around your knees, through your calf muscles, ankles, feet and toes.
Breathe deep and exhale slowly. You are now in a deep state of relaxation with a focused mind.
Round Two: Healing and Energizing Every Part of Your Body
Remain still and quiet in a cross-legged position. Breathe slowly and deeply.
Repeat the following words internally. Imagine and feel Divine Radiant Light cleansing, healing, and energizing every part of your body.
"Divine Radiant Light cleanses, heals, and energizes my whole body"
"My brain and my eyes, my ears and my throat"
"My lungs and my heart, my whole cardiovascular system, every blood vessel and blood cell in my body"
WOMEN: “My thyroid, breasts, kidneys, liver, spleen, stomach, gall bladder, appendix, colon, and uterus"
MEN: “My thyroid, kidneys, liver, spleen, stomach, gall bladder, appendix, colon, and gonads"
"My whole skin system, every skin cell in my body, my skin is supple — like a baby's"
"Every other Organ, Glandular, Meridian, and Chakra system in my body"
"Everything else in my body down to the Cellular and Sub-Cellular level"
"Trillions of cells in my body vibrate with cellular radiance"
"I am grateful for uber vitality"
"I am filled with Love and Grace"
"Radiance shines inwards and outwards"
- Our bodies are constantly regenerating new cells. Cleansing, healing, and energizing every cell in your body is a transformative process that promotes health and positive energy in your life.
- Perform this morning meditation before you get out of bed. Sit up, cross your legs, pull a sheet or blanket over your lap and shoulders, fold your hands in your lap, breathe deep and and relax.
- Go into meditation. Focus your attention on your third eye and hold your tongue on the roof of your mouth.
- In the first round, receive Divine Radiant Light and direct its movement through your body.
- In the second round, practice a cleansing, healing, and energizing exercise combined with a positive affirmation.
- You may repeat Round One 2 or 3 times to experience Divine Radiant Light moving through your body or to enter a deep state of consciousness.
- You may create specific positive affirmations for yourself.
- Breathe in to each verse. Inhale and exhale in a deep, easy rhythm.
- Feel the Divine Radiant Light moving through each part of your body — cleansing, healing, and energizing — all the way to the cellular level.
- Realize that, metaphorically, as light passes through your Brain, your Eyes, your Ears, and your Throat, that you are cleansing your Thoughts, what you've Seen, what you've Heard, and what you've Said.
- There are 50 to 75 trillion cells in your body. Cells contain the building blocks of all life.
- Illuminate and vibrate trillions of cells in your body with Radiance.
- Give thanks.
- You are filled with abundant Love and Grace.
- Radiance shines inwardly — for health and vitality.
- Radiance shines outwardly — to all you encounter.
- You have just created a force field of positive energy.
- Linger in meditation, if you wish.
- Breathe deep and smile.
- Now get up and go about your day.
- Practice this every morning — or a few times each week. It only takes 5 to 10 minutes.
- Listen (and sing) to uplifting music, eat healthy foods, go for a run or walk, and stretch.
- Soon your outlook and energy patterns will shift positively in the way you interact with yourself and people around you.
