Bruce Rawles
Bruce Rawles' Sacred Geometry Homepage is a great introductory online resource for those interested in sacred geometry basics. A very visual page that gives you a quick exposure to many of the main themes of sacred geometry, including the Platonic solids, Archimedean solids, the vesica piscis, the golden mean ratio, and much more.
“In nature, we find patterns, designs and structures from the most minuscule particles, to expressions of life discernible by human eyes, to the greater cosmos,” explains Rawles. “These inevitably follow geometrical archetypes, which reveal to us the nature of each form and its vibrational resonances. They are also symbolic of the underlying metaphysical principle of the inseparable relationship of the part to the whole. It is this principle of oneness underlying all geometry that permeates the architecture of all form in its myriad diversity. This principle of interconnectedness, inseparability and union provides us with a continuous reminder of our relationship to the whole, a blueprint for the mind to the sacred foundation of all things created.”
Charles Gilchrist
Charles Gilchrist's Introduction to Sacred Geometry presents a visual rendering of Genesis, from the point of view of the sacred geometrician.
Gilchrist is a visionary fine artist who has generously contributed a first-rate, visually exciting contribution to the field of sacred geometry, and established a beautiful online showcase for his exquisitely rendered mandala paintings.
“Sacred Geometry is the eternal visual language wrapped around the root concepts of the manifest universe,” says Gilchrist. “The archetypes and icons of geometry are absolutely perfect, unchanging, and timeless realities springing directly from the sacred mind of God. The principles of geometry are directly correspondent to ALL wave form phenomena; THE UNIVERSE; THE ALL. Science agrees, the Universe is vibration. And vibration IS geometry on another plane. Sacred Geometry is THE ARCHITECTURE OF THE UNIVERSE.” (This beautiful art piece to your left is from Gilchrist's website)
Aidrian O’Connor
Aidrian O’Connor's website entitled "Nature’s Word . . .musings on sacred geometry", explores the meaning of mathematical equations in the realms of nature, culture, and geometry. Aidrian has combined visual and textual narrative to provide the student of sacred geometry with an understanding of the deep cultural, even mythic significance of the mathematical concepts of “unity”, “square root of two”, “square root of three”, “ph/golden proportion”, and the “Platonic solids.”
Dartmouth.edu's Platonic Solids
The Platonic Solids is an online resource created for a Dartmouth mathematics class, called Geometry in Art and Architecture. Discover the music of the spheres, explore the secrets of the Great Pyramid, divine the true meaning of the Goddess of Fortune. Learn about the origins of perspective, number symbolism, polygons and tilings, Roman architecture, chaos and fractals and the mathematical underpinnings of celestial art and sacred architecture through the ages.
The Mathematica Programmer Web Site
The Uniform Polyhedra “is an excerpt of Chapter 9 of R.Maeder's book "The Mathematica Programmer II".
Uniform polyhedra consist of regular faces and congruent vertices. Allowing for non-convex faces and vertex figures, there are 75 such polyhedra, as well as 2 infinite families of prisms and antiprisms.
The Mathematica programs to compute and render the polyhedra are included on the CD-ROM that comes with The Mathematica Programmer II. The book also contains high-resolution color images of all uniform polyhedra. Follow the link to the book's home page above for more information or order directly through his site from amazon.com.
There is one page for each polyhedron with a high-resolution image and geometrical information. The pages can be accessed in these ways:
A visual index (sensitive map) of all 80 polyhedra
List and thumbnail pictures of all Uniform Polyhedra (Warning: contains 80 thumbnail pictures)
A list sorted by Wythoff symbol (Warning: contains 80 thumbnail pictures)
A guided tour of all 80 polyhedra starts here
Lightsource
LightSource's section of their website, A Sacred Geometry Experience, explains that, “ As you enter the world of Sacred Geometry you begin to see as never before the wonderfully patterned beauty of Creation. The molecules of our DNA, the cornea of our eye, snow flakes, pine cones, flower petals, diamond crystals, the branching of trees, a nautilus shell, the star we spin around, the galaxy we spiral within, the air we breathe, and all life forms as we know them emerge out of timeless geometric codes. Viewing and contemplating these codes allow us to gaze directly at the lines on the face of deep wisdom and offers up a glimpse into the inner workings of the Universal Mind and the Universe itself.
“The ancients believed that the experience of Sacred Geometry was essential to the education of the soul. They knew that these patterns and codes were symbolic of our own inner realm and the subtle structure of awareness. To them the “sacred” had particular significance involving consciousness and the profound mystery of awareness … the ultimate sacred wonder. Sacred Geometry takes on another whole level of significance when grounded in the experience of self-awareness.
Here you will find an introduction to the Torus, the Vesica Piscis, the Seed of Life, the Flower of Life, the Tree of Life, the Electromagnetic Field of the Human Aura, Metatron’s Cube, the Golden Mean Spiral, and more.
Fibonacci
The Fibonacci Numbers and Golden Mean Section in Nature explores the mathematics of the family trees of cows and honeybees. Find out where, how and why the Fibonacci numbers appear in various "family trees" and patterns of spirals of leaves and seeds.
Fibonacci Numbers, the Golden Section and Plants, examines why the golden section is used by nature in some detail, including animations of growing plants.
BuckyBalls -- Discover a molecule so exciting, it's the state molecule of Texas. Named after R.Buckminster Fuller, inventor of the geodesic dome, "BuckyBall" is the nickname for a Carbon 60 molecule. The BuckyBall, composed of a truncated pentagonal dodecahedron with icosahedral caps, has the same faces as a soccer ball -- it has 20 hexagons and 12 pentagons.
Sacred Geometry Schools and Learning Resources
Flower of Life.org
Flower of Life Research was founded by New Age practitioner Drunvalo Melchizedek. At this diverse website, you can find a unique course of study in the Egyptian mystery school tradition of sacred geometry and the Merkaba meditation, read FOL director Ronald Holt's article on "The Spiral and the Holographic Matrix" and much more. The Merkaba Meditation is designed to enable students to travel inter-dimensionally in their auric body of light and is shaped like a star tetrahedron.
Drunvalo says the Christ Consciousness Grid, actually a set of seven grids in rainbow colors that surrounds the Earth, is in the form of a pentagonal dodecahedron with icosahedral caps . The Grid is said to play a crucial part in the quickening of humanity’s evolving spiritual consciousness at this time.
”Sacred geometry is the expression of geometry related to the evolution of consciousness, mind, body, and spirit in geometric terms,” explains Ronald Holt. “True sacred geometry is not just static angular forms. It is organic and living-it is in constant evolution (transcendence) or devolution (materialization), ascending or descending from one form to another.”
“So the grid of the planet is an actual geometric and energetic expression of the principles of creation that can serve as a bridge between our planet's physical and energetic manifestations. To get an idea of how vast the grid actually is, let's look first at our planet. On this planet, in order for the smallest particle, element or compound to congeal and materialize, it needs a blueprint and a template for its construction and purpose of existence.”
”The blueprint and template for our planet is the grid itself. The grid serves as a guide or blueprint around which muons, quarks, positrons, electron, atoms and finally compounds organize. The grid ensures proper distribution and alignment of the needed elemental components, which are the building blocks for creation. It also insures the proper distribution and alignment of life-force energy and the many frequencies needed to maintain an effective energetic phase relationship of the planet's frequency spectrum."
Heartbeat2000.com
Heartbeat 2000, dedicated to the power and the beauty of the compassionate heart, depicts a universe of vast and tiny energy fields within which we work against the flow of life to maintain our ego driven mission in life, our personality defects and karmic quirks, in the illusion that these imperfections, these blockages in the universal flow of things, constitute our real, and genuine Being. In fact, our genuine Being is the experience of compassionate love that we experience when we achieve coherent equilibrium, a state of flow in harmony with the Universe.
The Quantum Aum, found on the website, by James Barrett & heartbeat2000.com, focuses on the chanting of the mantra “Aum” to achieve a state of coherent equilibrium with the Universe, and discusses the Golden Mean, phi relationships and the music of the heart.
Charles Henry
Human Form From Sacred Geometry by Charles Henry, Professor of Sculpture at Virginia Commonwealth University, uses sacred geometry to link the great pyramid and the human body.
Henry’s spectacular and visionary photographs of Christmas tree ornaments packed in pyramids are worthy of the next generation of science fiction films. Goddesses of self-recursive circularity radiate an unearthly glow. Platonic representations of human geometry are generated by close-packed reflective spheres clustered in a concentric shell structure producing an optical distribution network that links the Golden Mean and Pi.

Mid-Atlantic Geomancy
Sig Lonegren & Patrick MacManaway, creators of this site, present a well-developed, easy-to-follow and mathematically sound Sacred Geometry section of their website.
Check out the great article Why Sacred Geometry?. “Geomancers are interested in sacred geometry because it is the study of the way that spirit integrates into matter - by echoing and amplifying the geometry of nature and planetary movements, we help to align the resonance of body/mind/spirit with the harmonic frequencies of the above and the below. Spaces that use sacred geometrical ratios, enable the participant to resonate or vibrate at the appropriate rate that maximizes the possibility of connection to the One. When one looks at sacred enclosures globally, there is a group of five mathematical ratios that are found all over the world from India's temples to underground stone chambers in Vermont, and from Stonehenge to the Great Pyramid. These ratios are:
SanGraal.com
The San Graal School of Sacred Geometry, by Ray Flowers, presents The Sacred Geometric Basis of the Rainbow Mandala and Labyrinth, Akhenaten - Akhenaton and the Myth of Monotheism, High History of the Holy Grail, Alchemy, Magic, Incubation, Metatron, and Ancestors by Ray Flowers and much more, including world news headlines, science news headlines, and information on workshops on alchemical transformation.
“The San Graal School of Sacred Geometry was founded by Ray Flowers in the spring of 1997 for the purpose of sharing the many untold stories about Sacred Geometry. Sacred Geometry has been and is a part of many societies who hold the information as sharable only within their community. It is hoped that through the internet, the information will become available to all who seek its meaning.”
Meru.org
The Meru Foundation of Stan Tenen has discovered an extraordinary and unexpected geometric metaphor in the letter-sequence of the Hebrew text of Genesis that underlies and is held in common by the spiritual traditions of the ancient world. This metaphor models embryonic growth and self-organization. It applies to all whole systems, including those as seemingly diverse as meditational practices and the mathematics fundamental to physics and cosmology...Meru Project findings demonstrate that the relationship between physical theory and consciousness, expressed in explicit geometric metaphor, was understood and developed several thousand years ago."

Mind, Memory and Archetype, Part I
by Rupert Sheldrake The universe is more like an organism than a machine. The Big Bang recalls the mythic stories of the hatching of the cosmic egg: it grows, and as it grows it is more like a gigantic cosmic embryo than the huge eternal machine of mechanistic theory. more >>
